Nigerian Carnival Ireland has come and gone but for us (NCI Team) we still hold review meetings to help with our next Carnival.
As Head of the Hospitality/Promotions, i would say we tried our best! Starting with the Promotions: A press briefing was held with the media, Artistes/ Dj’s and event promoters.
NCI event fliers were given out at any event VRH attended, promotions were done on all social media platforms! The Carnival Director Was also meant to have been guest on BENTv UK to talk about NCI 2013 but the dates were clashing with other appointments here in Ireland..Watch out for our carnival Director next year on BenTV UK! Our Media Sponsor AIT did a great job in terms of running NCI adverts and NCI Live coverage during all NCI events.

All our international guests were lodged at the prestigious Calton Hotel Dublin 15 while all foods were catered for by Heritage confectioneries which made our guests felt at home away from home!

NIGERIAN CARNIVAL IRELAND (NCI) is the first of its kind celebration of Nigeria and Nigerians in the Republic of Ireland, bringing Nigerians and lovers of Nigeria together in the largest such gathering. The aim of NCI is to promote integration, celebrate cultural diversity and heritage; educate people about Nigeria and promote Nigeria’s rich resources, market Nigeria to the world as a tourist, trade and investment destination and encourage participation in the promotion of its cultural heritage as a country, to re-orientate peoples’ perception of Nigeria, defeating negative stereotypes.
