NIGERIAN CARNIVAL IRELAND (NCI) is the first of its kind celebration of Nigeria and Nigerians in the Republic of Ireland, bringing Nigerians and lovers of Nigeria together in the largest such gathering. It is the biggest and most popular mainstream Nigerian outdoor event in Ireland.

Held annually in the historic Phoenix Park, Dublin, Ireland, (one of the largest walled city parks in Europe and home to the Irish President), NCI grand finale is the climax of a week of activities designed to educate and enlighten people about Nigeria and Nigerians while showcasing the rich culture and commercial vibrancy of the country.

The aim of NCI is to promote integration, celebrate cultural diversity and heritage, inform and educate people about the different, diverse cultures of the ethnic communities in the now Multicultural Ireland while re-orientating peoples’ perception of Nigeria to defeat negative stereotypes, promote Nigeria’s rich resources, market Nigeria to the world as a tourist, trade and investment destination and encourage participation in the promotion of its cultural heritage as a country. This we hope to achieve through information dissemination and entertainment.
