Ms Kemi took to her Facebook page to announce that she will be ending her 6th year run as a community Activist and may also be leaving the Nigerian Tribune to focus more on herself and her projects.
Read her announcement below:
“This year, I am going to #END my 6 year run as a #CommunityActivist. There comes a time u focus on yourself and that time for me is now. Many of you Nigerians at home write all over the net that I should fight politicians, Boko Haram and so many of your causes. I am no longer going to be the voice for anyone or anything. I am going to rest now and enjoy the rest of my life which I never did. I will continue to make awareness of Gun violence a priority in my new music charity, the HipHossip Music Foundation. I have always fought for people, even getting jailed for it and also deported too. My name will forever be etched in stone for my work. Pls go to TorontoSun.com and Google my name as Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo and read all the stories in 5 years. I want to thank my family especially my children who said I put my LIFE on the LINE for others. I will be telling the World my Greatest Story of Sacrifice in the Sterling Bank “Story of Sacrifice” and I hope I win that big prize. Pls fight for your communities every day. I MAY also be leaving the Nigerian Tribune as early as next week to focus on my brand MadamGovernor
My next move is to build my brand stronger at MadamGovernor where I plan to launch a line of products and services including food, drinks, snacks, lingerie, jewelry Community Lifestyle Seminars, Events and a Reality Talk show and a Radio show”.
Strive for the BEST!
Thank U everyone!
Thank U Canada and USA
